Waka waka

I don't know how I feel about someone at the karaoke bar singing "Losing my religion" every single night. It feels like its mocking me and my cultural experience. I listened to this song three times in a row in August when I had an hour long REM binge, which was enough for the year (now I'm in a REM hybernation - hah!). But I really did not expect "Losing my religion" to follow me here to Central America and play multiple times a day. It's kind of becoming the "Hey there, Delilah" of my 2011, despite having been released in 1991, aka nineteen years ago! What.

Dear Karaoke Singers,
May I request some more Shakira so I can work on my espagnol and not get mega-depressed while listening to you moan?
Con mucho amor,
Cady
